When Tower Garden started, there was only one model for home-use, the Tower Garden FLEX, which back then was only referred to as Tower Garden.
Basically, the Tower Garden FLEX is the shorter version of the towers used for commercial purpose in a Tower Farm.
The Tower Garden FLEX is delivered with 5 pots/growing sections which can accommodate up to 20 plants. It is available with an option to have a 2-pot extension allowing to grow 8 more plants for a total of 28 plants per tower.
The Tower Garden FLEX can also be enhanced with a support cage and/or a dolly.
The bottom reservoir of the Tower Garden FLEX is much bigger than the Tower Garden HOME which makes it more suitable for outdoor use (in windy conditions).
However, please note that there is no support cage available for Tower Garden FLEX.
On the other hand, the Tower Garden HOME was designed mainly for indoor use and balconies. The bottom reservoir which is much smaller is equipped with built-in wheels and with a gauge allowing to see the water level remaining. It is only available with the LED light kit (LED lights are optional for the Tower Garden FLEX).
Like the Tower Garden FLEX, the Tower Garden HOME is delivered with 5 pots/growing sections which can accommodate up to 20 plants. It can also be upgraded with an optional extension kit (2 pots/8 plants) allowing to grow up to 28 plants.
Regardless of differences, both options are perfect for home-use, offices, schools, care homes, etc.
The end result will end up being the same. In fact, the tower components (planting sections/pots) are the same whether referring to the Tower Garden HOME or the Tower Garden FLEX. Also, the same nutrients are being used with both models. In other terms, crops planted using either model will give similar results when it comes to quality and crop yield.
The Tower Garden HOME is available in selected European countries. However, the extension kit is not currently offered.
